With a side dish,coke to be precise....
Yet we gulp down pani puri with a better ease....
And ,Nimbu pani, is by far the best we realise....

We can scream on with Linkin Park and hum along with Enrique....
Awe struck by them,we are a huge fan.....
Yet our favourites are Kishore kumar and KK.....
And we know the Musical Wizards as R.D.Burman And A.R.Rehman....

We can support NBA's Pheonix Suns....
Or a Premier League's Chelsea.....
Yet Cricket unites us all,from an Expert to a Dunce....
To give an opinion on how to break the Aussies winning spree....

We can wear a low waist jeans or something faded....
With spooky hair-dos which really haunt....
Traditional wear gives us a sense of our privacy being evaded.....
Yet millions of pictures in them we flaunt......

We are termed as emotional fools....
Taking way too many things to heart....
But in emotional bonding we dont know no rules....
And its actually being empathetic,which is the best part....
Indeed....What a country we are.....
INDIA.....
We can ape the West and put on an accent....
And hesisitate to speak our language Vernacular...
We fail to understand that these are all God sent....
And think we sound peculiar......

We can sit on our couch and blame our politics....
But don't bother to go and Vote....
And name all the leaders as lunatics....
If they are,then we are the ones who promote....

People still wear seatbelts only at the sight of a policeman a little far off....
Jumping signals and going the wrong way......
Yet youngsters are rash on the road,they write off........
And cause accidents,they say....
Indeed... What A Country We Are...
INDIA....
Our National Anthem is our pride....
To depict the extinction of Religious differences....
And "Vande Mataram" our National Song.....
Shows how we are religiously patriotic.....
Feels great to be a part of this Wonderful nation....And...
Indeed ....What a country we are.......

Your sequel to "INDIA,WHAT A COUNTRY WE ARE..."seems to be as incredibly written as it...and after reading "INDEED,WHAT A COUNTRY WE ARE..."i couldn't help but think about how true the scenario is with the present generation!!i sound like I'm 100!which,is not true..but i digress,so the poem describes us just the way WE are..with all our positives,prejudices and promises!!
